Kern Architects takes a 360° approach to managing our projects for our clients.
A majority of our projects are negotiated, design-build type projects. Our focus is primarily on private work allowing for a more collaborative approach with the construction team throughout the design process.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in an architectural office
- Education: Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) or Master of Architecture (M.Arch)
- Licensure Path: Licensed or Actively enrolled in NCARB AXP pursuing licensure
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Revit (required)
- Working knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and material assemblies
Responsibilities
- Produce & coordinate construction documents under supervision of a project manager.
- Develop 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials to support design and client communication.
- Participate in all phases of projects including SD, DD, CD, and CA.
- Collaborate with internal team members and consultants to maintain quality and consistency across deliverables.
- Manage and prioritize workload across multiple projects and deadlines.
- Demonstrate accountability and ownership in assigned tasks and deliverables.
